Bollywood drama filmed at Heathrow business centre Avanta’s Capital Place business centre at Heathrow has proven to be the perfect location for Hindi film-makers, Idream Productions who were looking for a high-quality business centre  in which to shoot their latest drama. Famous for films such as ‘Bend it like Beckham’ and Monsoon Wedding, in India, Idream is a leading Indian film production company which markets its films at festivals around the world.  “We looked at a number of locations around the Greater London area, but none met our criteria of quality, location and management cooperation until we saw the Capital Place business centre,” comments IDream’s line producer, Alok Kapur. “We were looking for an office space with an up-market look and feel and we knew that we had found the perfect filming location the moment we walked into the reception. The quality of decor and the superb atrium coffee garden caught my eye straight away, but it was the accommodating and cooperative attitude of the Avanta management team that really convinced me that this was the right place. “Our new film focuses on the aspirations of a new company executive arriving in the UK and the struggles he faces in attempting to rise to the top, so it was essential to have access to high quality offices, meeting rooms and reception areas to create the right effect. The film stars Bollywood legend, Rahul Bose, who along with other actors found the business centre’s location on the Bath Road, right opposite Heathrow airport, extremely convenient for both transportation and hotel accommodation. “Filming at the centre will last five weeks and it wouldn’t have been possible without the friendly and cooperative Avanta team who were always willing to work with us to help meet tight deadlines and meet any workspace requirements that we had.” Capital Place’s centre manager, Matthew Acton, adds, “The Heathrow business centre has only been open a few months and yet has attracted considerable interest both from businesses and film-makers who are attracted to its wide range of facilities and great location.
