Avanta has six appeal in the West End

Avanta has added another property to its growing portfolio of business centres by taking an eight year lease on the 28,000 sq ft building at 271 Regent Street from landlord Norwich Union.

Avanta now operates six unbranded serviced office suites across the West End, and brings the company’s total number of properties to nine. This is the first of a number of deals expected to be announced this Spring, with Avanta closing in on properties in central London, West London and the Thames Valley.

Avanta recently announced the launch of a £100 million expansion programme following a management buyout by Kenmore Private Equity, part of the Kenmore Property Group. This is enabling the company to buy freeholds, take on leaseholds and develop the corporate outsourcing model across the UK.

The company has also just launched a property outsourcing joint venture with The Asset Factor, offering a new service to corporate occupiers which takes on their leasehold liabilities and manages vacant space as serviced office suites.

The new serviced office facilities at 271 Regent Street are expected to be open in July this year. It joins a portfolio of West End serviced offices at 48 Charlotte Street , 10 Margaret Street , The Media Village at 131-151 Great Titchfield Street , 18 Hanover Squar e and 83 Victoria Street .

The deal brings the total amount of serviced office space managed by Avantato over 300,000 sq ft, with the company on target to meet its objective of managing over one million sq ft in the next two years.

Chief Executive David Alberto said: “This is the latest milestone in the company’s on-going growth strategy. There is increasing occupier demand in the market for unbranded, competitively priced, flexible business space, which we are well placed to satisfy with our growing portfolio of business centres across London and the Thames Valley.”
