David Alberto

Group Managing Director

Previously CEO of MWB Business Exchange and Sales Director at Regus UK, David founded Avanta in June 1998 and to date has over 14 years’ experience within the industry.


After opening 4 centres in the South East of England, Avanta merged with Marylebone Warwick Balfour’s (MWB) fledgling business centre operation. Taking over as CEO between 1999 and 2002, David grew MWB Business Exchange to over 50 centres in the UK and Europe.


After leaving MWB Business Exchange at the end of 2002, David started Avanta again in February 2004, which now operates numerous centres in the UK and is currently opening in India, with China and the Middle East coming soon.


David Kinnaird

Group Operations Director

Previously Head of BT Compliance and Governance Practice (2003-2005) and

IT & Telecoms Director of MWB Business Exchange (2001-2003) David is now responsible for day to day business operations including the billing and delivery of all customer services, all building related services and the fulfillment of our statutory obligations. David also fulfils the role of overseeing all 3rd party contracts and Internal IT. Overall David has over 18 years experience of Design and Management of Information Systems and service delivery.

Jill Jackson

Director of Client Services and Personnel Development

Jill Jackson, formally Director of Operations fulfils the role as Director of HR & Training. Having worked in the serviced office industry for 20 years in an operational function, Jill now heads the HR and training department, focusing on the growth of the company through recruitment, assessment and training.


Alan Pepper

Finance & Commercial Director

Alan is responsible for investor relations, fundraising and transactional activity as well as having ultimate responsibility for financial management. He played a key role in the management buyout of Avanta in January 2007. Alan joined Avanta in October 2006 having been the responsible Investor Director at the private equity house that originally backed the start up of Avanta in 2004. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession with experience in corporate finance, investment management, corporate recovery and turnaround management and has worked in the accounting profession in the UK and overseas and in private equity both in a major investment bank and boutique investment firm.


Geraint Evans

UK Sales & Marketing Director

Geraint Evans is responsible for the company’s sales strategy as well as all sales activities within the business. Together with a team of experienced sales people he ensures that the company’s financial targets are realized by delivering a healthy portfolio of products and services to new and existing markets.

Geraint has over 20 years of experience within the sales arena, having spent a total of twelve years with British Airways and Marks & Spencer, was then UK Sales Director for MWB Business Exchange prior to starting with Avanta back in 2003.

 


Chris Taylor

Director of Corporate Development

Chris has considerable experience in Business Development, Marketing and Relationship Management. With a background originally in Financial Services, he is both a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management and the Chartered Management Institute.

As Corporate Development Director at previous company MWB Business Exchange, Chris provided bespoke products and office solutions to customers such as Shell, SAP, Clifford Chance, Michael Page, DeBeers and Royal Sun Alliance in addition to creating new corporate sales opportunities for the Group.


Chris was previously responsible for all Marketing, PR and Product Development activities for Avanta since inception


Paul Alexander

Director of Finance

Paul was previously Director of Finance at MWB Business Exchange before joining Avanta where he is responsible for financial reporting, business planning and cash management. He is also responsible for insurance, business rates and tax compliance. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand and gained further experience in retail, advertising and car rental before joining Avanta.

 

Nakul Mathur

Operations Director – Avanta India

Nakul has worked with Leading hotels all over India as departmental head for Food & Beverage and Front Office operations ensuring guest satisfaction.

He was Involved in the opening of some of India''s most exotic resorts and building them up to excellent guest services level.

Prior to joining Avanta, Nakul Worked with Regus being responsible for North India and Pakistan operations, while setting up several new businesses centres for the company.

Nakul has specialization in hospitality and management from Asia''s finest Hospitality Management school.
