Top 100 Best Small Companies To Work For 2010


We are delighted to announce that Avanta has been awarded Best Companies two star accreditation status and ranked in the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2010. Both awards are initiatives of The Sunday Times and aims to help employers better understand today`s complex and ever changing array of workplace issues and how they relate directly to their own organisation.

Both the Best Companies accreditation award scheme and Top 100 Best Small Companies ranking are based on staff feedback and look at employee engagement as an integral part of a company`s success and growth. Companies were marked against eight categories including Leadership, Wellbeing, Belonging, Giving Back and Personal Growth.

The accreditation award scheme follows a Michelin star style system with companies awarded one star for first class, two stars for outstanding and three stars for extraordinary performance. Of the 1,086 organisation which applied in 2010, only 410 became accredited star status` organisations, broken down as 50 three star, 140 two star and 220 one star.
