Big Screen Is Back In Lyric Square!

This summer sees big screens popping up all around London from those in Hyde Park and Battersea Park for the Jubilee, to a wide range dotted around in public areas showing all the sporting action from Stratford come the end of July.

Getting us all in the mood nice and early, the annual big screen has arrived outside Avanta’s business centre on Lyric Square, Hammersmith W6.  The 2012 Urban Beach themed event comes complete with several rows of deck chairs for viewers to enjoy whilst watching the 20 ft big screen.

From now until September the Urban Beach will feature free cinema nights, from tennis from Wimbledon, special theatre performances plus live coverage from the Games in Stratford.

The screen has been a popular fixture in Lyric Square for the last few years and, with the sun out, it’s certainly helping to build the carnival atmosphere that is currently developing in the capital.
