New Workspace Scheme Helps Find 'Business in You'

A major new campaign, under the banner of ‘Business in You’, has been launched by the Prime Minister to help inspire people to start and grow their own business.

The joint Government and private sector initiative is based on the concept that there is ‘a business in everyone’ and that all businesses can realise their ambitions given the right help and guidance.

The campaign will run throughout 2012 and will feature a ‘Business in You’ web portal which will bring together resources available to business owners  and entrepreneurs to help them start  or grow their business as well as inspire them with stories of how other people have achieved success.

To further help small businesses get off the ground, the Prime Minister has also announced plans to make empty and under-used Government office space available to small businesses. Many entrepreneurs struggle to find workspace to start their business so this measure will support the next generation of British businesses.

“This is great news for budding entrepreneurs, but providing access to professional quality workspace at affordable rates and on flexible terms to small businesses is what the serviced office industry has been doing for the past two decades,” comments Geraint Evans, sales and marketing director at Avanta, which operates 17 business centres in London and across the UK.  “The Government is definitely on the right track by supporting these companies, some of which could become tomorrow’s multi-nationals.”
