Sunshine in Trafalgar Square

As part of Tropicana's Brighter World campaign, commuters were treated to an early sunrise on Monday 23rd January courtesy of the artist Greyworld, a world leading visual artists with a passion for creating installations that the public can interact with and experience.  

An artificial "sun" was installed for one day only in Trafalgar Square, just around the corner from our London business centre, Avanta Orange Street.

Made with 60,000 bulbs and weighing 2500 kg, the Trafalgar Sun treated passers-by to free Tropicana and an opportunity to have a rest and bathe in the warmth on the deck chairs provided.

The Trafalgar Sun lit up the London skies for over 12 hours providing Londoners the opportunity to experience the positivity and optimism you get from drinking a glass of Tropicana in the morning.

'We hope that this stunning art installation will both amaze and enthuse those who see it, whilst brightening their mornings on a miserable January day" said Pete Charles, Tropicana spokesman.  It certainly made our day!

Avanta Orange Street is just a short walk from Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus making it the ideal location for a London office.
