The Big Egg Hunt Comes To Devonshire Square

Where summer 2010 saw beautifully decorated elephants popping up all over London, Easter 2012 will see giant eggs doing the same.  The Big Egg hunt aims to be the world’s largest egg hunt in history, with 2.5 foot uniquely decorated eggs hidden throughout the capital for 40 days and 40 nights.

The Big Egg team, with media partner The Evening Standard, are delighted to report a rush of creative ideas breaking out along the egg theme; from a mass egg fight in Berkeley Square, to a record breaking chocolate egg created by chocolatier William Curley.  In addition, some huge names in the art world have pledged to decorate an egg including the Chapman Brothers, Vivienne Westwood, Tommy Hilfiger and Theo Fennel.

Most importantly, The Big Egg hunt aims to raise over £1million for vulnerable children through Action for Children and endangered wildlife through the Elephant Family.

There will be three eggs ‘hidden’ in Devonshire Square EC2, close to Avanta’s City business centre.  We look forward to seeing them there soon.
