Avanta Managed Offices Ltd, the leading provider of flexible work space and support for growing businesses, is helping its clients to make the most of the opportunities available to them this summer, whilst making contingency plans should transport difficulties affect their clients’ travel to and from work.
With the country about to embark on a summer of sport, Avanta is offering clients advice and support on how to make the most of the business opportunities available through a partnership with the British Business Club – an organisation that helps businesses benefit as much as possible from international sporting events.
As well as this, clients are being reassured that Avanta will help them carry on running their businesses through the busiest periods. Avanta clients that cannot make it to their office during the Games because of transport difficulties will be able to use available office space or meeting rooms at any of the company’s other 14 London business centres *. It is also offering free call forwarding to clients who wish to work from home.
Avanta is also making plans to cope with what it predicts will be a serious strain on the capital’s internet capacity as employees tune in from their desks to see the big events of the summer, from Euro 2012 and Wimbledon in June, to the Olympics and Paralympics in July and September. To ease the strain on broadband capacity at its centres, Avanta will be opening screening rooms with refreshments at all its locations and showing the main events. It will also be circulating a calendar of what it predicts to be the biggest broadband busting events to help clients plan ahead.
Alan Pepper, CEO, Avanta said: “This summer is a once in a lifetime opportunity for British businesses, both professionally and personally. The world will be arriving in the city from July and small and growing businesses will be looking to make the most of the commercial opportunities available. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the British Business Club to make sure our clients have access to the best advice possible, and that our offices are open to suit people’s changing travel patterns.
“It’s not all about winning contracts though. Big sporting occasions also provide the opportunity for businesses to share memorable moments together, which is why we’re showing all the main sporting events this summer in screening rooms at all our centres. We don’t want anyone to miss England’s efforts in Poland and Ukraine, an Andy Murray classic at Wimbledon, or a minute of the sport taking place across London because the strain on the Capital’s internet capacity has let them down.”
*Avanta has set up a dedicated contact number for its clients to use so that they can book space in any Avanta business centre should they experience difficulty reaching their usual place of work. This space will be charged at only £20.12 per room, per hour, for up to six people.
