A number of additional small offices, from three to five workstations, have been created at the Avanta business centre in Reading, Duke Street, following a surge in demand by the growing number of small and start-up businesses being attracted to the town.

“However, during the past six months some 87% of our enquiries have been for 10 workstations or less and this demand is showing no sign of slowing down. Government figures recently revealed that there are now more than 4.1million self employed people in the UK – the highest number since records began nearly 20 years ago – and many of these are creating new businesses that are seeking to locate to serviced offices in Reading. A large number of entrepreneurs and individuals start out working from home or on the move, but eventually they need to have a ‘professional’ presence in a quality business environment and this is fuelling demand for smaller workspace units in the town.
