Colmore Row: Colmore Row is a short walk from our business centre in the historic jewellery quarter and has long been the city’s prime business district. Numerous financial institutions occupy the area, which has its own square with 23 listed buildings. St Philips Cathedral is another of the district’s landmark buildings.
New Street: New Street lends its name to the city’s main station and runs from Corporation Street up to Centenary Square. Largely pedestrianised now, it is one of the main shopping streets and has some excellent restaurants and cafes.
Snowhill: Our business centre is virtually opposite Snowhill mainline station. The entire area is being dramatically regenerated with shops, apartments and high rise offices.
Birmingham City Centre: The city centre area includes Colmore Row, New Street and Corporation Street, which are home to numerous businesses and some of the UK’s best shopping!
Corporation Street: This runs from New Street to the Inner Ring Road, by Aston University. It is a few minutes’ walk from our business centre and is one of the city’s main shopping streets.
Centenary Square: Redeveloped and named in 1989 to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of Birmingham achieving city status. The square is an attractive public space featuring contemporary street furniture and specially commissioned sculptures. The International Conference Centre overlooks the square.
Birmingham business district: Birmingham’s commerce and industry covers the entire Birmingham region so there is not a district per se. However, within city town centre, many businesses are based in Colmore Rowe, Corporation Street and increasingly Snowhill.
