Places close to Orange Street
With Piccadilly and Leicester Square Underground stations nearby everywhere in London is accessible, including Heathrow direct via the Piccadilly line. Here though are some of the principal landmarks within easy walking distance of the business centre.
Trafalgar Square - A principal tourist landmark overlooked by the National Gallery, Trafalgar Square is a prime business district with offices around much of its southern perimeter. Pass through Admiralty Arch to the south and you enter the Mall, leading to Buckingham Palace.
Whitehall - Whitehall Street runs from Trafalgar Square to the Houses of Parliament. Along its length are numerous ministries, including the MoD, Foreign Office, HM Treasury and Department of Health. Downing Street and the Cabinet Office are also in Whitehall, as is the Cenotaph war memorial.
St James Square - Set around private gardens, St James Square was for many years an exclusive residential area. Now though its residents are largely corporate and include world leading organisations such as BP and the Rio Tinto Group. This is just two streets away from our serviced offices in Orange Street.
Leicester Square - Major UK film premiers are invariably held at the Odeon, Leicester Square, and the entire area is packed with bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. Gerrard Street heads North from the square and is popular with film and media companies.
Piccadilly Circus - Where Regent Street, Piccadilly and Shaftesbury Avenue meet, Piccadilly Circus is just two minute’s walk from the business centre via Haymarket. There you can pick up the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines. Together these provide direct access to Waterloo, Kings Cross, Paddington and Marylebone mainline stations, as well as to Heathrow Airport.
